Phenolic resin boards have good chemical resistance. In terms of acid resistance, it can withstand the erosion of common acids such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, and hydrochloric acid. Whether it is a low or high concentration of acid, under short or long contact time, the phenolic sheet can maintain good stability, and its surface gloss and color do not change significantly.
Strong resistance to common organic solvents such as acetone and xylene. Even if you are exposed to these organic solvents for a long time, the surface and properties of the phenolic resin sheet will not be significantly affected. This makes it widely used in chemical laboratories, chemical production workshops, and other places where organic solvents are often exposed.
It also has excellent alkali resistance, and has good resistance to alkaline substances such as sodium hydroxide, and will not cause corrosion and deformation due to contact with alkaline substances.
Chemical cleaners and disinfectants commonly used in daily life and laboratories have little to no effect on the surface and performance of phenolic resin boards. This allows the phenolic sheets to be kept in good condition in environments that need to be cleaned and disinfected frequently, such as hospitals, laboratories, food processing sites.
