Phenolic sheets
Phenolic sheets , due to its performance and cost advantages, there is a large demand for countertops in school laboratory construction.
In school laboratories, phenolic resin countertops are very common. It is made by impregnating special paper with phenolic resin and then subjected to high temperature and high pressure.
Its advantages are significant. In terms of physical properties, it is strong and durable, able to withstand the weight of experimental equipment, resistant to impact, and not easily damaged. Chemically, it is resistant to chemical corrosion, and common acids, alkalis and organic solvents are difficult to erode it. It also has fire retardancy, ensuring laboratory safety. It is also easy to clean, and surface stains can be wiped off with a wipe. The price is also economical and affordable, which is suitable for schools to control costs.
However, it also has disadvantages. It is not resistant to high temperatures, and direct contact with high-temperature objects will cause it to discolor and deform. If there are deep scratches on the surface, it is difficult to repair and the effect is often not good.
Daily use requires proper maintenance. Use a mild detergent to wipe regularly, avoid scratches from sharp objects. Use insulation facilities when heating to prevent high temperature damage. If chemical reagents splash, they should be washed with plenty of water in time and neutralized to prolong their service life and better serve teaching experiments.
